Criminals and babysitters

A short thought (aren’t they all)

Being a father has in many ways changed the way I look at other people. The weather was incredible in Bangor yesterday and so I spent time walking the boy around town. People where out everywhere. In the past I would have seen a bunch of kids and not paid much attention. Now however it’s a bit different. I see young girls in the neighborhood and I think “hmmm, possible babysitters in a year or two.” I see young boys in the neighborhood and I think “hmmm, I need new locks on the house.”
