In philosophy, reality is the state of things as they actually exist, and not as they may appear or might be imagined.
Yesterday on my way out the door and on my way home from work this was the tweet.
It was a simple enough dream.
Reality set in upon arrival at home. First I ran out of propane and could not grill. Then the boy got fussy and needed a bath so there was no time for a beer. After that came 30 minutes of crying. His mother took over putting him to bed so I got the lawn mowed and did some laundry. After that came more work until about 11 when the laptop died. Which was good because that was about the time my son woke up and wanted to hang out for a bit anyway. I rocked him back to sleep and then got some shut-eye myself.
The reality never quite matches the dream.
