I took a look through all the photos I have taken with the app Instagram this year. When I look at them all I can piece together a timeline of what my year was like. Here are a few highlights.
- Flogging Molly at the State Theater – That and Awolnation were the best 2 shows I was all year
- Downtown Bangor is beautiful in the spring
- I love a good beer outside
- I walk by this every morning on my way to work. Its a great way to start the day.
- Time spent in the backyard
- Penobscot theater
- Miss Lily on our coastal hike
- Belfast – easily my favorite coastal community
- Summer nights in Downtown Bangor – you can almost smell the bath salts in the air.
- Sunset in Rangeley. I spent a cool few days there with a cool crowd from the BDN
- There are over 3,400 lakes in Maine. (the more you know)
- The southern Maine beaches are fantastic. My favorites are Popham, Reid, Ogunquit and Wells. OOB is gross.
- Bay oyster pile outside the Three Tides restaurant. They make and serve the best beer in all of Maine here.
- The Moxie festival is an incredible spectacle celebrating a terrible soda.
- Lobster Festival – Thousands of people, I don’t think one of them from Rockland
- Yes I am from Maine, and yes we have lobster.
- This is my favorite photo from 2012. It is the only time all year I got the boy to nap with me. It was epic.
- Yeah, we have a nice time
- Where else but KAHBANG
- I had folkin’ good time.
- Shot while hiking Tumbledown this summer. This was my favorite hike of the year.
- Do you think his life vest was big enough?
- Sunset over Long Lake in northern Maine
- It looks like he is building, but he is in fact destroying
- Getting him to sit still and not eat the leaves was more difficult than I anticipated
- Had to toss in some Portland love. Every time I end up in the OldPort it feels a little like returning to the scene of a crime
- My big girl on our Hunting trip in the Alagash
- Pie and beer – might as well be 2 complete food groups
